Join Our Sacred Circle with Libby Lee on new years eve for 2024’s final Dark Moon Sound Journey. It feels so significant to have the dark moon phase falling on the last day of our calendar year. Such a perfect opportunity to pause, reflect, and set intentions. So this month, we're going to make it extra special!

This is an invitation to join with community, honouring the ending of one cycle and the beginning of another, with meaning and purpose.

Our evening together will include a Sacred Cacao Ceremony to help us drop into and open our hearts, a deep Intention Setting Practice, a Sharing Circle, and of course a restorative, relaxing and nourishing Sound Journey.

- What is Ceremonial Cacao -

Ceremonial Cacao is a Sacred Heart Medicine that helps us to open and drop into our heart, facilitating greater connection to our true/higher self, other people, and nature. Ceremonial Cacao contains the quantity and balance of compounds and energies to properly support the Cacao Spirit in partnering with you and your intentions. The gentle and supportive energy of the Cacao Spirit allows one to expand and experience heightened states of awareness. Ceremonial Cacao is a powerful heart opening medicine that increases blood flow up to 30-40%, and can assist one’s focus, so that one’s “inner work” may be more accessible.

In Our Sacred Circle, we collectively co-create a safe and supportive container, so that this work can be done in a loving and allowing space.

Cacao Contraindications: Cacao in ceremonial doses is not recommended if you have a pacemaker, have high blood pressure, or other heart conditions, as the Cacao will increase your heart rate. It can be dangerous to your health if you are taking heart medication or high doses of antidepressant medication. People with bi-polar disorder are advised of the risk of overstimulation. If any of these apply to you, please know you are still most welcome to join in the ceremony for the sacred experience with a very light/homeopathic dose or none at all. (Some herbal teas will be available if you choose.) You will still receive many benefits from participating in the ceremony and basking in the collective energy that will be generated in the circle.

I strongly encourage you to refrain from eating any big meal in the 2-3 hours preceding the ceremony to increase the efficacy of the Cacao and to enhance your experience. This will also reduce the potential for any negative interactions with anything in your stomach. If you must eat, please eat lightly and simply (no greasy or dense foods.)

-What is a Sound Journey-

A Sound Journey is an immersive, full-body listening experience that utilises intentional sounds to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture your mind, body and soul. The experience typically begins with each person laying or seated in a comfortable position, often with a blanket and eye mask. Different sounds and frequencies are introduced in succession, created by a variety of sacred instruments inluding Gongs, Himalayan bowls, Crystal singing bowls, Chimes, Rattles, Drums and Voice.

When you sink into a Sound Journey and open your awareness to your listening, it allows your brain-waves to slow, shifting from a more active state to a more relaxed state, or even a dream-like state. The sounds introduced during a Sound Journey are an invition to drop into a deeper state of consciousness. An opportunity to unplug from external stimuli, come into a place of deep rest and relaxation, and to activate the body's natural self-healing abilities.

Please bring yoga mat, blanket, cushion to sit on, and eye mask to ensure you are comfy and cosy for your Sound Journey experience. Please also bring
journal/notebook & pen, and bottle of water.
