Our Shared Space - Skill Swap
Event description
Join us for a community skill swap session where volunteers will share their knowledge on simple repairs—like mending clothing or patching fabric, and other basic skills. Watch live demonstrations, learn something useful, and help reduce waste by breathing new life into your everyday items.
If you already have a repair in mind or want to learn something specific, be sure to let us know when you register so we can try to match your need with the right skill!
Please note these are simple repairs so no electrical items, battery operated items, electronics.
This session is part of Clarence City Council's Our Shared Space program. We are pleased to partner with Rosny Library to bring you this fortnightly program of intergenerational activities.
Our Shared Space is a partnership between the Clarence Positive Ageing working group (CPAWG) and our Youth Network Advisory Group (YNAG). It tackles the issues of safety, the intergenerational divide, and ageism through advocacy, community activities, programs, and partnerships.
