Women With Disabilities Australia is expanding Our Site, a website by and for women with disability.
In our first round of workshops in May, we talked about issues surrounding gender-based violence.
We've since taken what we learnt in those sessions and incorporated as much as possible into the design of our new website.
This round of workshops will give you the opportunity to see what has been created. You will have the chance to talk about the new website and to make further suggestions.
The workshop will run for approximately 2 hours. Lunch will be provided. Attendees will receive a $100 gift card for their time.
Workshop for women and gender-diverse people with disabilities: 10 am - 12 pm
A reminder that we will be talking about topics that are challenging. We want to hear people’s stories, but we do not want you to be hurt in the process. We also want you to be able to participate as much as possible, so we are again providing a qualified counsellor (excluding the sector representatives workshop). We also want to know how we can best meet your accessibility needs.
We are really looking forward to seeing you again!
If you require Auslan Interpreters, please contact Sarah Smallman, Senior Project Officer, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 0448 993 572 at least two weeks before the event and we will do our best to secure an interpreter.
If you have specific dietary requirements, please contact Sarah Smallman at email@example.com or 0448 993 572.
Other access needs
If you have other access needs to attend this workshop, please contact Sarah Smallman at firstname.lastname@example.org or 0448 993 572 with your access and support needs ASAP.
