Reconnect deeper with your little love these school holidays by taking your child on a ‘Special Date’
As a parent, your greatest love is your child, but sometimes the busy whirlwind of life and other responsibilities get in the way and we forget to take special time out to nurture and tend to the invaluable relationships with our little loves.
Reconnect - through touch and play
Listen - as you interview each- other
Share - stories and precious moments
Create - a shared artwork to treasure
Laugh - make up your own ‘secret’ hand shake
Enjoy - a special moment for the world to stop and you to just be totally present with each-other
Nurture - your most valuable relationship
Jayde from Young Souls Nurtured, Children’s yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner has taken great care to brainstorm the best ways for you to spend a morning making the most of our 2 hrs together.
On your date you will be guided gently into the space with fun ice breaker games that open the floor to feel comfortable and safe in the space.
This will include interactive group activities, before breaking off to partner yoga, power of touch energy share, eye gazing and mindful listening as you interview each-other with a list of carefully designed questions to go deeper into some of our emotions, and better our understanding of each other.
After discovering more about each other we will begin to bring creative ideas together for the pinnacle of your date.
Together you will then create a shared artwork based on the answers from your interview.
This creative process will be led by your little love as the creative director of the piece, allowing your child to role reverse into ‘leader’ as you honour each-other’s creative ideas for the piece.
You will then be left with a soulful collaborative art work to take home to commemorate your special date and the deeper connection that you shared together.
