Our Table & Lumen People | The Summer Soirée: In Two Parts
Event description
Our Table and Lumen People are proud to present The Summer Soirée : In Two Parts
Sunday February 23
522 Victoria St, North Melbourne
4pm Workshop. 6:30pm Communal Dining Experience
Join us for our latest seasonal collaboration, bringing you not one BUT TWO opportunities to deepen your relationship to self, community, and our world in motion — always, with the finest seasonal food at the core. Our Table is joining forces with Lumen, to bring you an immersive workshop followed by a communal dining experience — showcasing Summer’s best locally sourced produce and wines.
To commence the Soirée, Lumen’s Emma Sheahan and Our Table’s Mollie Nelson-Williams will lead an immersive workshop that celebrates the artistry of locally sourced produce, plates, and wines. Designed for those eager to deepen their connection to seasonal ingredients, this guided session offers a thoughtful exploration of food and wine pairing. Think of this as the entrée to the communal dining experience that follows.
A communal dining experience concludes The Summer Soirée. For both new and familiar faces, join us for an intentionally lead dinner, with a set menu celebrating the best of our surrounding growers, producers, and makers. This meal forms the foundation from which we connect; giving us common ground and a link to the present. Come as you are and release into an evening of vibrant flavours and warm company. Begin with a complimentary spritz on arrival, followed by a thoughtfully curated three-course menu designed to delight the senses and spark conversation.
Expect an evening full of deep conversations, bountiful plates, and new connections. This is a space to show up exactly as you are, as new faces gather to share a meal. Come solo, or with a friend; we can guarantee that either way, we’ll celebrate YOUR choice to show up for yourself.
This will be an intimate experience, designed to nurture new connections, and as such, only a limited number of tickets are available.
