Our Wild Imaginations: An evening of storytelling, art-making, and enchantment
Event description
Join CERES and Cornerstone for an enchanting evening of storytelling and creativity with local legends and elders as we explore themes of Psyche, Ecology and Culture.
How can we come together to create and live into a new story for our times?
How can we re-inhabit joy and imagination as we delve into the important issues we face?
THIS EVENT IS: Live Panel Discussion x Live Art-making by you! x Shared Imaginative Process
We’ll hear from 3 powerful Storytellers, sharing from their hearts and minds on how we might re-enchant our perceptions and imaginations to move towards a more beautiful future.
While they speak, you - the audience - will be invited to create art, using the conversation to inspire your artistic process...
(don't worry, you do not need to be an artist, we will guide the process!)
“I used to think that top environmental problems were biodiversity loss, ecosystem collapse and climate change. I thought that thirty years of good science could address these problems. I was wrong. The top environmental problems are selfishness, greed and apathy, and to deal with these we need a cultural and spiritual transformation.” Gus Speth, US advisor on climate change
