Our World

In a concert which celebrates our connections to the environment, the orchestra will explore music which champions aspects of the world around us. During this stunning soundscape, we invite you to close your eyes and envisage yourself immersed in nature. 

On the program is Respighi’s stunning tone poem, “The Pines of Rome” and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony no.1, entitled “Winter”. We will also be joined by the fabulous Voices of Birralee to perform Rockhampton Gardens Symphony No.2 'River Symphony', by celebrated Australian composer, Elena Kats-Chernin AO with soloist Kira Dooner.
