Out and About with Birds
Event description
Our own Oaklands Wetland has a thriving population of both resident and visiting birds. During 2023 alone, nine new species have been added to the existing tally of 77 species.
Bird-watcher, photographer and volunteer Andrew Crouch presents a photographic presentation to showcase some of our favourite (and new) local species.
This presentation will also include captures drawn from other bird habitats including the nearby coast, the mallee and dry country beyond the Adelaide Hills. For a final splash of colour - some birds of the forests to our east and north.
Come along to learn more about some of Australia's fascinating bird species.
Gold coin donation appreciated.
