Out of Bounds 2026

Out of Bounds is an exciting choreographic ideas sharing platform presented by Lucy Guerin Inc and Dancehouse.

Curated by Lucy Guerin, Dr Phillip Adams, and Josh Wright, Out of Bounds invites dance artists to share excerpts of up to 10-minutes duration of recent choreographic investigations, experiments, or works-in-progress. Following the sharing, each work will be given space for creative feedback with discussions facilitated by experienced dance practitioners and peers.

Out of Bounds aims to show new work in a raw state, providing a generous, open space for artists to take risks and try out their ideas. Dance artists across all forms, practices, cultures, histories, lineages, styles, disciplines, aesthetics and experimentations are welcome at Out of Bounds.

Each session will present the work of three different artists, followed by breakout facilitated group discussions.

Sessions are free to attend, and you can register for multiple sessions.

• Entry to WXYZ Studios is via 130 Dryburgh Street, North Melbourne. Please note this entrance has stairs, there is step free access via 41 Little Dryburgh Street South.
