Outdoor Carnival
Fun, fast paced activities, run at School, help building outdoor and community living skills:
• Get to know your guide games: An introduction to the guides on programme
• Bush cooking: Learn how to make a tasty meal using camp cooking equipment
• Totem craft: Design and paint totem poles expressing own ideas and artistic skill
• Archery: Learn how to use a bow & arrow safely
• Initiatives & Games: Fun and fast paced games to develop teamwork
• Tent set up: Learn how to pitch a tent efficiently & effectively while building a tent city
Paddle day
Full day guided session developing flatwater paddling techniques and water safety at Casurina Sands
or Lake Burley Griffin
Hike & Hut Exploration
Settlers walking track & hut exploration in Namadgi National Park. Students will discover the natural flora
and fauna to the region and explore bush huts built by early settlers.
LOCATION - Namadgi National Park
• Meet at the John Lingard Hall every morning at 7:45am
• Bus will depart at 8:00am and return at 4:00pm
