In memory of Rod Oram, Sustainable BOP is delighted to host a special screening of Outgrow the System on Tuesday 14th May 5.30pm at Luxe Cinemas.
Rod's work as a business and climate journalist confronted the norms of an economy with infinite growth, challenging us to see the world through the lens of an ecosystem instead, with limits on which our lives depend.
This movie will do the same.
Outgrow the System looks at the emerging and different economic ideas and practices, which present the opportunity for a life of less consumption, less inequity, and more collective wellbeing and resilience.
Much like Rod, this movie is a positive celebration of what we can achieve when we challenge the norms that no longer serve us.
