Premier Yarra Valley sparkling wine, Ovata by Oakridge, is taking over one of Sydney's hottest pieces of real estate for the inaugural Ovata House. For one weekend only, on October 26 and 27, Sydneysiders can book an exclusive visit to Ovata House to enjoy an afternoon of sparkling wine, a live DJ, and moreish bites from Aplenty. Ovata House will be hosted at Darling Point's Gatsby House – a multi-million dollar manor exuding 1920s Hollywood glam in one of the city’s most enviable postcodes.

A ticket to Ovata House will see you escape the hustle and bustle of Sydney to indulge in Ovata by Oakridge on pour for the duration of the event, alongside a selection of sparkling-based cocktails for the afternoon. It’s the ultimate pool-club vibe, complete with the backdrop of Gatsby House’s manicured lawns, 18-metre pool, and Mediterranean-inspired architecture – best enjoyed with a glass of Yarra Valley sparkling in hand. 

Each ticket includes transport via the Ovata House Shuttle to and from Edgecliff Station, arriving at Ovata House ready to soak up the Sydney spring sunshine. 

Ovata by Oakridge is a sparkling wine crafted by winemaker Teresa Heuzenroeder, who has over 20 years of experience working across Australia’s most notable wine regions. In partnership with Yarra Valley winery Oakridge, Heuzenroeder has selected only the best chardonnay and pinot noir grapes in the region. This exceptional sparkling wine is bottle fermented and aged an average 18 months on lees to develop a wine that perfectly balances freshness and complexity. Think a divine flavour pairing of fresh florals and citrus rounded out with notes of brioche and toast. 

Please note due to RSA regulations swimming in the Ovata House pool will not be permitted.

Weather is looking glorious for the weekend, but in case of a change Ovata House will have ample heating and shelter.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Before purchasing your ticket to Ovata House, there are a few things to note:

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

Your all-inclusive ticket to Ovata House includes Ovata by Oakridge sparkling wine and Ovata sparkling wine cocktails to be served in accordance with responsible service and consumption of alcohol for the duration of your session. Guests will also be invited to enjoy a range of canapés from the team at Aplenty. Comfortable seating along with entertainment, including a live DJ and lawn games, will be available for you to enjoy on the lavish lawns of Ovata House.    

GETTING THERE:

All guests will be shuttled to and from Edgecliff Station via the Ovata House Shuttle. Please see your ticket information for the exact pick-up time and station location the shuttle will collect you from for your trip to Ovata House. In the event a guest does not make the shuttle departure time, they will need to organise their own transport to Ovata House. 

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS:

Any dietary requirements must be disclosed in the ticket booking form. Any dietary requests or food allergies not noted when purchasing your tickets are unlikely to be accommodated unless confirmed by the event organisers within five days of your allocated session. All dishes are prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs and soy products. Whilst all reasonable efforts are taken to accommodate guests' dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that the food will be allergen-free. Please notify events@blendpr.com.au should you require any updates to your dietary requirements.

RESTROOMS:

There are two restroom facilities available on the property. 

OVATA HOUSE RULES:

• Minors under 18 will not be permitted into Ovata House
• All guests must have a valid form of personal identification with them. Guests under the age of 25 will be asked for valid identification upon entry. 
• Please treat all other guests, service staff and the property with respect. Any guests being disrespectful to service staff, or other guests or causing damage to the property will be asked to exit Ovata House. 
• Any guests who are deemed intoxicated or approaching intoxication upon arrival at Ovata House will be denied entry to the event.
• Photography and videography may be captured at this event. In the event you do not wish for your image to be taken and used on Oakridge Wines' social channels, please inform the event organiser prior to the event. 
  
• Security will be on site at the event with first aid facilities available in case of injury or emergency. 

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE & CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL:

This event is licenced for on-premise alcohol consumption only. No BYO will be allowed and guests will not be allowed to take alcohol from the premises after their event session ends. All service crew are RSA certified and will uphold the strictest of RSA standards based on the current laws of New South Wales Liquor & Gaming. If security or service members determine a guest to be unduly intoxicated or displaying disorderly conduct, they will be immediately removed from the venue and unable to return for the duration of their session. No ticket refunds will be available for those guests removed from the event due to intoxication.

Due to alcohol being served at this event, swimming in the pool will not be allowed. 

NO WHEELCHAIR ACCESS:

Due to the nature of the location and access points of Gatsby House, Ovata House is not a wheelchair accessible event. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

IN CASE OF WET WEATHER:

Only in the event of extreme weather conditions or a significant natural event would the event be cancelled or rescheduled. In the event of light rain, sufficient coverage from wet weather will be provided. The event organiser will communicate directly with guests in the event of a cancellation.

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & EVENT DATE CHANGES:

Refunds will only be given to those ticket holders who notify the event organiser up to seven days before the event date. No refunds will be provided to those guests who miss or do not attend their allocated sessions, or do not request a refund more than seven days prior to the event date. Changes or ticket transfers may occur 48 hours prior to the event and only in the event of an alternative session time being available. Please contact the event organiser below to make a ticket name change or transfer.

Should the event be rescheduled to a future date, your ticket will remain valid for that date. The event organiser will endeavour to notify ticket holders as soon as possible of any rescheduled event dates. 

MARKETING:

This event is being hosted by Yarra Valley winery Oakridge. By registering to attend this event, you also accept to receive the occasional marketing communication from Oakridge. Should you wish not to receive marketing material from Oakridge, please ensure you decline to accept marketing material during the ticket registration process.
