Come Join Us for Over the Hill Hiking. A Wellness Adventure Series!
Are you ready to embrace the beauty of nature, make new friends, and indulge in enriching wellness experiences? We invite you to "Over the Hill Hiking," a series of six invigorating hikes specially designed for those aged 55 and over. Join our expert Instructor Jamie Scally on a journey through the picturesque grade 1-3 trails of the Great Southern, where each hike is paired with two unique wellness activities.
Kick Off with Our First Hike:
Date: Wednesday, August 14th
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Mt Adelaide, meeting at the Forts
What to Expect:
- Hike Duration: 1-1.5 hours
- Wellness Experiences:
- Photography Session with Nev Clark: Capture the stunning landscapes and learn photography tips from a skilled landscape and seascape photographer.
- Yoga & Mindfulness with Emma Polette: Engage in a rejuvenating yoga and mindfulness session designed to enhance your sense of well-being and relaxation.
About the Location:
Mt Adelaide is a treasure trove of historical and natural wonders. Home to the Princess Royal Fortress Military Museum and the new National Anzac Centre, it offers a rich tapestry of military history and breathtaking views of King George Sound and the Atatürk Channel. Explore the Avenue of Honour, lined with large gum trees honoring fallen soldiers, and enjoy the marked walking tracks that meander through this stunning Heritage Park.
