Overnight Hike with Trailblazer Elise Marcianti
Event description
Join us for our first-ever Zorali Outdoor Club overnight hike, hosted by Trailblazer Elise Marcianti!
Where: Meet at Razorback Trailhead (opposite Diamantina Hut), Great Alpine Road, Hotham
When: Saturday, April 26 – Sunday, April 27
Time: Meet at 11:30 AM for a 12:00 PM start
Distance: 11km from trailhead to summit (approx. 4–5 hours)
Return time: Sunday 12:00 PM
We’re heading into the heart of the Victorian High Country to experience the rugged beauty of Mount Feathertop, the state’s second-highest peak. This out-and-back hike follows the Razorback Track, a scenic ridge-line trail with sweeping views of the Alpine National Park.
We’ll be camping at Federation Hut, located 9.5km into the hike, with a final push to the summit for those keen. The return journey will take place the following morning.
This is a Grade 4 trail—medium to challenging—so while beginners are welcome, all
hikers must be fully self-sufficient and prepared for changing alpine conditions. A full packing
list is included below.
To ensure attendees have a safe and enjoyable experience, we have limited numbers to 10 hikers – RSVP now to secure your place!
