Please meet at this location. Look for our MTSW flag. Our meeting point is directly opposite 137 Happy Valley Road, between the Owhiro Bay School football field and Happy Valley Park. Parking is on Happy Valley Road.

Please ensure you are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for the evening. You’ll need warm layers and waterproof shoes (such as gumboots) or shoes you don't mind getting wet in if you are wanting to enter the water. We survey the areas prior to the event in tall gumboots and maintain dry socks, but you may prefer water-shoes or quick-dry sneakers that will give you more stability crossing rocks etc. This event you can do almost entirely bankside, so getting in the awa is optional.

You are welcome to bring your own torch, but we will also have some to lend out.

If you'd like a hot drink, please bring along a keep cup!

Awa after dark events are very popular and this event has a waitlist! If you are no longer able to make it, please cancel your booking. To cancel, search your emails for order@humanitix.com to find your original confirmation email. From this email, select 'manage order', then 'refund/cancel'.
