Your curls have been trying to tell you something. This is where you finally learn to listen.
Own Your Curls is a relaxed, three-hour look and learn workshop at our brand new Marrickville salon, where our curl specialists teach you exactly how to care for, style and fall back in love with your own texture. No jargon, no one-size-fits-all rules, just the real techniques we use on the salon floor every day, translated into a routine you can actually recreate at home.
You'll spend the morning with us in a small, easy group of no more than fifteen people, so there's plenty of room for your questions and your curls. We'll walk through everything from washing and detangling to styling, drying and making it all last through the week. You watch, you learn, you have a go yourself, and you leave knowing what your curls need and how to give it to them.
What you'll learn
Understanding your own curl texture and what it's asking for. Detangling without the drama. The wash routine that changes everything, including our double-shampoo method. Sectioning, product and styling technique for definition that lasts. A drying and diffusing masterclass for real volume. Finishing, refreshing and keeping your curls looking fresh at home all week.

- Who is this workshop for?
Any adult who wants to understand and master their own curls. Whether you're brand new to embracing your texture or you've been at it a while and want to level up, you'll leave knowing exactly what your curls need. Every curl texture is welcome, from loose waves to tight coils
- Do I need any experience or knowledge beforehand?
Not at all. We start from the very beginning and build up, so you'll follow along easily no matter where you're starting from. Just bring your curls and your questions.
- How big is the group?
Small and relaxed, with no more than fifteen people. That keeps it personal and gives us plenty of time for your questions and your curls.
- Do I get anything to take home?
You'll head home with a goodie bag of Curl Edit samples so you can put everything you've learned straight into practice.
- Where exactly is the workshop held?
At The Curl Lab, our brand new salon at C1 / 415 Illawarra Road, Marrickville NSW 2204. There's plenty to love about the space and we can't wait to show you.
- How long does it run?

All tickets are non-refundable. We keep our workshops small and plan around every guest, so once you're booked, your spot is locked in. We can't wait to see you there.
