Own Your Joy - A Sensory Playshop

Join me, Emily, for a unique, sensory-based ‘playshop’ to creatively explore and experience one of life’s greatest pleasures – JOY.

For children, it’s second nature to play, laugh, learn, connect with others. That’s the primary focus – to find happiness in the present moment, whatever that looks like and whoever that’s with. And it is widely encouraged in an environment to support just that.

Seeing children thrive in their own unadulterated happiness is universally contagious – we can’t help but smile and laugh with them. It’s such a beautiful thing to witness. But as adults, it becomes harder to create those playful, carefree moments in life. Or maybe we feel as though other things take priority.

Whilst it’s important to recognise that life isn’t without its hardships and adversities, particularly as we get older, this shouldn’t come at the expense of our own happiness.

When we give ourselves permission to make space for joy, we also make space for expansion, love, healing, connection and compassion. First, within ourselves, and then with others. From this, we can create a powerful ripple effect – from human to human, community to community. One joyful moment at a time.

In this special one-time event, you will have the opportunity to participate in activities based on the 5 senses, lovingly created to help you reconnect with your child-like playfulness, curiosity and expression in a safe, supportive environment, and encourage those around you to do the same.

Come as you are, let go of expectations, release self-judgement and just enjoy the ride.

This idea has been a long time coming and I am so excited to finally share it with you!
