Ensuring Older Women Count Too: Strategies and Solutions to Break the Silence

Join us for a lively discussion on the issues that are important to older women. What are the solutions and why isn't more done to help older women?

Keynote Address: Dr Catherine Barrett, Founder of Opal Institute and Kindness Pandemic FB group (Winner of the Most Uplifting FB Group in the World)

Followed by Panel Discussion on 'What's Working & What More Should Be Done To Support Older Women?' featuring:

Dr Catherine Barrett

Beverly Baker, National OWN President and OWN NSW Chair

Sharon Stone, Pathways to Employment Coordinator

Debra Barndon, Hear Our Voices Coordinator

Bronwen Johnston, Chair Blue Mountains OWN

This will be followed by a workshop to identify how services can better respond to the needs of older women.

We hope you can share the day with us and work towards better outcomes for older women in Australia.
