Owning the Room: Advanced Flogging, Public Play & Scene Mastery

Step into advanced territory with James - an accomplished Dominant, coach, and artisan leatherworker.

This workshop is designed for experienced players who want to refine their craft in public or multi-participant settings. You’ll explore advanced flogging techniques, creative scene choreography, and how to hold presence in a public space. Learn to build and sustain tension, handle unexpected challenges, and foster safety and connection in dynamic environments.

You’ll master skills such as:

• Designing complex, multi-person scenes

• Adjusting energy and rhythm for public play

• Managing interruptions and shifting group dynamics

• Building trust and psychological presence with multiple partners

• Adapting your technique to different scenes and settings

This class focuses on leadership, creativity, and emotional precision, helping you craft scenes that are powerful, connecting, and memorable in any space.

WHERE? A Space in Sydney - NEW SOUTH WALES / Private Annandale venue close to PT, exact address provided to ticket holders the day before the event with details of parking and transport. 

ACCESSIBILITY: There is a steep flight of stairs with 2 turns up into the workshop space of the venue, please reach out to us if this may be of concern to you so that we can provide more information! Inside the venue there are 3 steps leading down to the hallway to the kichen area, and another 3 steps leading down into the kitchen space which leads to the bathroom.

OUR TICKETING STRUCTURE

We have added a pay-what-you-can/want ticket - to help support the community and those who may not be able to afford the full price ticket of $80, this is an option where you can pay what you can from $50. There is no upper limit on this ticket, so if you feel like subsidising those who purchase 'lower priced tickets, or giving a little extra to the facilitator to support us, this is your option!

We believe in both accessibility for the community, as well as making sure our facilitators are paid appropriately for their erotic / intellectual labours, so this is our solution to hold space for both with a minimum of fuss!

James is a professional flogging coach and leather artisan with over ten years of experience in kink education and hands-on impact training. His specialty is flogging — taught through an embodied, connection-driven lens that merges technical skill with emotional intelligence.

He offers immersive workshops that are practical, grounded, and tailored for both new and experienced players. With a calm, dominant presence and a strong emphasis on safety, consent, and partner attunement, James delivers education that elevate participants’ confidence and competence in scene-building.

He also creates high-quality, handmade leather floggers used by professionals and educators across Australia, the US, and Europe.
