Julian Banks is launching his new album in variety night style!
Featuring the iconic Dj Vince Peach from PBS spinning some northern soul sets either side of the band, and comedian Kirsty Webeck with a short stand-up set before the band plays.
Then it's Julian Banks Quartet, playing new album OxyMoron start to finish — Julian Banks on sax, James Gilligan on bass, Louis King on guitar, Joe Talia on drums. It's Julian's first record of original music in about ten years — direct, melodic, groove-driven jazz, the kind of tunes you can hum on the way out.
CDs and merch on sale on the night, including the OxyMoron high-bounce balls — the merch you never knew you needed. Buy an album, get a free ball.
Tickets $20. Doors 7pm, Vince Peach DJs first, Kirsty's on around 8pm, band from about 8:15pm, then Vince closes it out till 10:30.

Kirsty Webeck - 8pm
The ever hilarious Kirsty Webeck will be performing a short set stand-up from 8pm to get everyone laughing before Julian Banks Quartet get up to play OxyMoron!
