ABOUT:
Oyobi is a Sydney music group that uses electronic machines, deep rhythms, and live instrumentation to take audiences on polyrhythmic musical journeys. Their music blends
electronica, house, jazz, Latin, and broken beat, and has been described as “nothing short of sublime” by The Brag.They have released music on iconic labels Atjazz Records and Defected Records, with major supports of Grammy winners Los Amigos Invisibles, while featured on Late Night Tales, and having multiple Traxsource number #1s.Their live performances are unique for integrating machines with flawless musicianship, breaking genre barriers, and using
improvisation to make performances unique and dynamic.
