Event description

Celebrate the festive season with us at our P–12 Library Movie Night, featuring a special Christmas screening of The Santa Clause!

Families are invited to arrive early and enjoy an evening of festive fun before the movie begins. From 5:00–6:00pm, food will be available for purchase from Colourful Confectionary and The Port Icecreamery outdoors. Enjoy a treat, listen to some Christmas music, and soak up the cheerful atmosphere before the screening.

Our library will once again transform into a cosy cinema space, complete with a big-screen atmosphere for the whole family to enjoy.

  • This is a free, ticketed event – all individuals attending must book a ticket.

  • Students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and the adult must also hold a ticket.

  • Bring along a cushion or blanket for extra comfort!

About the Movie – The Santa Clause (1994)

When Scott Calvin accidentally causes Santa to fall from his roof on Christmas Eve, he unexpectedly finds himself taking on the big red suit and the responsibilities that come with it. As Scott and his son Charlie navigate the magic and mayhem of the North Pole, The Santa Clause delivers festive fun, heart-warming laughs, and plenty of Christmas spirit.
