Practice & Connection Forum - Inner Gippsland (Baw Baw, Latrobe, South Gippsland & Bass Coast)
Building knowledge, skills & collaborative practice. Supporting practitioners to respond to family violence across Gippsland!
The Gippsland Family Violence Alliance Practice & Connection Forums are open to all practitioners working in Family Violence, AoD, Mental Health, Family Services or any other workforce prescribed under MARAM (Multi-Agency Risk Assessment) Framework.
Each Practice & Connection Forum is designed to provide information to practitioners to build their knowledge, skills and practice around particular topics, while providing opportunities to identify and enhance collaboration between practitioners and organisations across the service sector.
At this Practice & Connection Forum will provide be provided with information regarding Alcohol & Other Drug use and Family Violence.
You will hear presentations from specialist within the field including....

- Latrobe Community Health Services Addiction Services Team
- Odyssey House Victoria - Hope Centre Residential Rehabilitation Service

- AoD effects and trends
- Overdose risk & harm minimisation
- Local services
- Referral pathways
