Practice & Connection Forum - Outer Gippsland (Wellington & East Gippsland)
Building knowledge, skills & collaborative practice. Supporting practitioners to respond to family violence across Gippsland!
The Gippsland Family Violence Alliance Practice & Connection Forums are open to all practitioners working in Family Violence, AoD, Mental Health, Family Services or any other workforce prescribed under MARAM (Multi-Agency Risk Assessment) Framework.
Each Practice & Connection Forum is designed to provide information to practitioners to build their knowledge, skills and practice around particular topics, while providing opportunities to identify and enhance collaboration between practitioners and organisations across the service sector.
This forum will include Best Practice approaches to Relationships and Sexual Education (RSE) and talking with young people about:
- Sexual content online
- Laws & ethics of sexual online content
- Pornography
- Consent & affirmative consent legislation
- Pleasure-positive focus
- Trauma informed practice when discussing sexual health
