A Free Parent Seminar

The P&F are delighted to offer parents access to this important session on how to deal with the Under 16s social media ban, presented by digital safety and governance expert, Kirra Prendergast, of 'Safe on Social'.

Join Kirra Prendergast for an insightful look into the facts of the upcoming under 16s social media ban, and how you, as parents can support your children through these changes.

In response to growing global concerns about online harms, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Reddit, X/Twitter, and YouTube will need to have age-verification measures to restrict access for users under 16 from accessing these platforms in Australia by the end of this year.

Without preparation, teens risk losing access to connections, content, or communities they love, with little notice.

This webinar will help you plan with your child, not just for them, preserving their agency, digital memory, and online wellbeing.

Attend in person or online

The seminar will be available to attend in person at the School's Performance Theatre and online. There will be a 45min presentation followed by a Q&A session.

Please register here - an online link will be emailed to you after you register.
