The Lobby, located on deck 5 is our favourite new hang out place, from morning to night. It is the perfect place to sit and watch the (ship’s) world go by. Choose from three fabulous bars for your favourite drink, a snack, a quick lunch, or a cheese platter. We’re sure the Lobby will also be your favourite new hangout place. If you’re in the mood for something more lively head to Altitude, our nightclub on Deck 18.

Familiar favourites include Waterfront, Angelo’s, Dragon Lady, and Shell & Bones or go casual in The Pantry. Head to the child-free Oasis for a cocktail and a perfect view of the ship’s wake or the chilled-out vibe in the Ocean Bar, or for a true pub experience, head to Encounter Hotel.

At night, choose from live entertainment and lively signature P&O production shows including, Blanc de Blanc, a feast for the senses.

Your Steppin’ Out Events Host will send out private invites on the location and time for members to meet on the first night. Then sit back and choose which events you would be interested in attending.

This will be a fun escape away from the day-to-day grind, so when you rock up to work Monday and your work colleague insists on making bad small talk in the left and gives you the “how was your weekend?” line, you instantly smile and say ……..

QUESTIONS;

We will e-mail you a form to complete with the questions we need answered to secure your booking.

Once you fill in the form and pay the $150 deposit your booking is locked in at that price. This means when P&O change the price, you WON”T be charged the new price.

Closer to the date you will be required to pay the balance of the cruise, you will receive an invoice and a deadline to pay the amount.

You can also arrange with our Travel Agent to pay off the cruise a little bit at a time. START SAVING!!

How will I know who is a part of our group?

We will organise on the first night a meetup to hand out lanyards and VIP Steppin’ Out Cards. These will be worn around your neck and easy to identify.

You will also be invited to a private Mix N’ Mingle on the first night to meet everyone.

Why is the price slightly higher than what I can pay online?

We charge a small fee to cover our Administration, Promotion and private Host / Events.

I don’t know anyone to share a cabin with, can I still come?

Yes, for sure, we will match you up with a same sex member.

Are there any other expenses?

We do highly recommend “Travel Insurance” although it’s an Australian Cruise they do not recognise Medicare onboard so charge significant amounts for any medical attention required. It’s well worth the small cost involved. Our friendly Travel Agent can assist.

Some drinks are included, others you will have to pay for as you go (alcoholic drinks)

Some restaurants aren’t included in the package, but most are and a very large selection of dining experiences and variety of cuisines

Shopping on board the cruise like gifts, chemist etc.

Can I bring my kids?

No this is an event for Singles Over 40

Where do I board the P&O Pacific Explorer?

Melbourne Cruise Terminal, Station Pier, Waterfront Place Port Melbourne

Distance to/from City: 15km/20mins
Distance to/from Airport: 17km/30mins

Why is this the last P&O Cruise?

P&O Cruises Australia has decided to cease operations after 92 years of service. As a result, their three-ship fleet will be reduced to two, with the remaining ships being absorbed into Carnival Cruise Line. The closure means the end of seasonal departures from Melbourne. Unfortunately, there are no plans to reinstate departure ports in Melbourne, as Carnival Cruise Line now sails primarily from Sydney and Brisbane.

This was a cheap awesome option for us to cruise from Melbourne, adding flights to Sydney or Brisbane no longer makes this viable for our Company. Sorry to disappoint, but get on our LAST CRUISE!.

Do I need to be Vaccinated against Covid-19 to Cruise?

No longer a requirement.
