Animal Farm is a lasting statement to the world about George Orwell’s position on Stalin’s rise to power in Soviet Russia - straightforward and uncensored.
Symbolically enacted through the ruthless actions of the pigs, Orwell’s stark fable unveils leader Napoleon’s callous behaviour as he transforms the law of the farm to totalitarian rule. Through manipulation, lies and the twisting of truth, Napoleon erases the past and replaces it with a bleak future ....
