Please Join us for a very special holiday performance by the Pacific Standard Jazz Orchestra. PSJO is a mixed jazz ensemble under the direction of award-winning composer, arranger, and saxophonist Levi Saelua and Downbeat Award-Winning jazz vocalist and music educator Elizabeth Lowe Unpingco. Levi and Elizabeth have assembled some of the area’s finest musicians to help realize their vision of a jazz orchestra that incorporates strings and big band instrumentation in contemporary and sometimes unique arrangements of the Great American Songbook, including works by George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and more. On this night, we’ll also be treated to PSJO’s new arrangements of timeless holiday classics. This show is guaranteed to be a highlight of your holiday season!
