AFTER THE FLOOD
In celebration of the next stage of PACT's ongoing rejuvenation & rebirth, we invite you to the newest iteration of Underground; After The Flood. Featuring performances from Julien Mier, Withdrawe and Milo M, come along for an evening of live experimental and ambient music.
PACT Underground is a series of events curated by our crew. Each iteration brings in artists across a wide range of media, whether that be dance music, sculpture, theatre, poetry, painting or experimental performance. Previous iterations have been curated by Marcus Whale, Zsa Zsa Gyulay, Sonnet Cure, Anwyn Brook-Evans and Theo Carroll.
After The Flood has been curated by Milo McLaughlin.

ACCESSIBILITY
PACT is an accessible venue, with level access throughout the public areas of the building and non-gendered, ambulant and wheelchair-accessible toilets. There is accessible (non-dedicated) street parking on Railway Parade. The nearest accessible train stations are Erskineville (5 minutes) and Newtown (15 minutes).

Lineup
Julien Mier
Julien Mier is a Dutch-French multi-instrumentalist, sound designer and composer born and raised in the Netherlands, but based on unceded land of the Gadigal (Sydney.) Utilising found sounds and fragments of samples from anything like broken toys, thrown out objects on the streets and other interesting sound sources. Over the past decades, he has released music on labels including Lapsus Records, Shipwrec, and King Deluxe, alongside remix work on Ghostly, Night Time Stories, and Project Mooncircle. His collaborators span a global network of artists such as Daisuke Tanabe, Kettel and Tennyson. Julien’s live performances are conducted entirely on hardware, showcasing an immersive and tactile approach to electronic music. He has performed at major events such as Lost Paradise 2025, supported Rival Consoles at the City Recital Hall in Sydney and additionally performing at Dark Mofo in 2026. In the past sharing stages with artists like Daedelus, Plaid, and Lone across Europe.
Milo M
Milo M is the new project of Gadigal-based musician & composer Milo McLaughlin, bringing their songwriting practice (as heard in Knock Knock and Giant Hammer) into dialogue with experimental textures and open forms. Milo is working to uncover a personal, improvisational approach to the realisation of ‘song’, where time ebbs and flows, and where genre ceases to hold any sway. you can’t enter the same river twice.
Withdrawe
Withdrawe is an improvised music duo making sounds that pull and push between melody and cacophony, introspection and spectacle. Withdrawe is Mitch Elliott (solo / Black Metal 3) and Jasper Craig-Adams (Daily Toll / no ceremony) based on Gadigal land.
