PACT UNDERGROUND PRESENTS: SONNET AND THE BREADBOYS

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

PACT Underground is a series of dynamic events led and curated by our skilled back-of-house technicians. This initiative aims to bring vibrant live music, lighting installations, dance performances and indie film screenings through PACT's doors; maximising the full potential of our iconic warehouse space.

Sonnet and The Breadboys are celebrating the release of their second single “and we’re women”, a sombre statement on the depressing double standards for women today. Join us at PACT, dressed in your most scandalous funeral attire and mourn with them the great tragedies of being a woman.

DETAILS:

  • Date: Friday 29th March 2024
  • Time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm
  • Location: 107 Railway Parade, Erskineville (PACT Centre for Emerging Artists)

The artists:

SONNET AND THE BREADBOYS - @sonnetandthebreadboys

Sonnet and The Breadboys' energy is unmatched. The Alt Punk Rock band brings the kind of vibrance and mayhem to the party that makes it impossible to slip away for a beer. From their kicking and screaming, to their emotional power ballads, they hope you find something that makes you smile inside their chaos.

MASCHINENKRIEGER - @evil_riki

Combining emotional vocals and innovative self-produced beats, maschinenkrieger presents an original Electro-Pop performance. Previous prolific touring and performing experience informs her stage presence, indoctrinating the crowd into her sullen and engaging world.

ISA - @isabluetick

Isa is a DJ, FBi Radio host, mum of Athletica. Their heart and soul belongs to the dance music communities of so-called Australia, and she founded Athletica in 2019 to shine a light on the DJs pushing boundaries in that space. She loves all things high energy and genre bending.
