On Friday the 7th of August, Sweet Boy Sonnet launches her Sophomore EP, “Where do I put my love?” at PACT Theatre, Erskineville. Experience an immersive, live electronic music, audiovisual performance supported by CTRL PACH and NARAINEE (DJ).
Sweet Boy Sonnet combines electro clash, acid, art pop and experimental pop, accompanied by her band of synth and hardware musicians. This EP explores the alienation and isolation of falling out of love. Falling out of love with yourself, with your dreams, with the world.
"Where do I put my love?" is the light at the end of the tunnel, and a reminder to just keep going, just keep walking, just keep dancing.

PACT is an accessible venue, with level access throughout the public areas of the building and non-gendered, ambulant and wheelchair-accessible toilets. There is accessible (non-dedicated) street parking on Railway Parade. The nearest accessible train stations are Erskineville (5 minutes) and Newtown (15 minutes).

Sweet Boy Sonnet
Sweet Boy Sonnet is the electronic project of Sonnet Curé, a singer and producer from Sydney / Eora. She is a powerful performer with a mercurial voice and her music blends grunge, EDM, and art pop. Sonnet’s music takes heavy inspiration from the likes of P J Harvey, FKA Twigs, Jockstrap and Daft Punk. Performing for crowds of up to 10,000, she has played Mundi Mundi Bash, King St Crawl, featured on the Double J live performance of the 25th anniversary of You Am I’s “Hi Fi Way” and starred in the ABC iView series “Headliners”. Sweet Boy Sonnet’s newest work, “Where do I put my love?” is a blend of grunge rock, art pop and pop rock, and is set to be released on the 8th Of July 2026.

Narainee
Narainee is a Gadigal-based DJ and producer, weaving together electronic soundscapes that span deep trancey basslines, dubby and dark textures, paired with acidic, electric squelches. Her favourite place to play is in nature where her sets feel right at home amongst the bush and trees. Driven by a deep belief in the power of community, Narainee lives by the ethos that the best way to be part of something is to contribute to it. Off the decks, you’ll find her scanning tickets at a warehouse or presenting on air at community radio station fbi 94.5. Her curiosity and commitment extends to fuel Exit Loop, a mix series designed to shake artists out of their creative comfort zones. Each guest is given a unique prompt (from genre limitations to playful mixing restrictions) encouraging exploration and boundary-pushing. Through Exit Loop, Narainee uplifts other artists while continuing to challenge herself, keeping things moving forward, because that’s what it’s all about.
