Event description

Paddock Mates is a gathering around a bbq dinner at Yankalilla Show Hall/ Supper Room to support local farmers and farming communities mental wellbeing.

Expect an informal night of conversation, good food and some chats from John Mannion, CEO of Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation and Ben Ryan, local farmer with lived experience of mental illness.

A time to connect, share a story or two and support each others mental wellbeing.

An alcohol free event.

This event is part of the Healthy Minds, Healthy Farmers, Healthy Landscapes project funded by FRRR ( Foundations for Regional and Rural Renewal). The Food Embassy is the local lead organisation working closely with Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation and supported locally by Fleurieu Farming Systems and Yankalilla Football Club.
