Are you curious about the plants in your paddock? We will show you how to identify species, spot key differences, and understand what they reveal about your land.
Event details:
Join South East Local Land Services for a morning paddock walk and hands-on plant identification workshop with leading experts Carol and Harry Rose.
This workshop aims to help land managers sharpen their skills to:
Tell the difference between native and introduced grasses and understand the strengths and weaknesses of each.
Identify which plants are useful and why.
Understand what plants tell you about your paddock or landscape. For example, why some plants grow where they do, and what this tells you about soil fertility and other landscape characteristics.
Manage the different plants in your paddock effectively.
