Event description

The workshop will run from 6:30pm - 9:30pm. Please arrive latest by 6:00 for registration & dinner.

This workshop will provide an update on managing and treating paediatric skin conditions in a general practice setting.  Presenters will also discuss ADHD conditions and pharmacotherapy management. 

Facilitators:

  • Dr Lalit Gamage, Paediatric Emergency Physician & General Paediatrician
  • Dr Scott Parsons, General Practitioner (with special interest in Paediatrics)

Learning outcomes:

  • Identify a broad range of paediatric skin conditions that commonly present in general practice.
  • Outline steps to determine if skin condition is a systematic manifestation where further assessment is needed to exclude an underlying systemic disease.
  • Summarise treatment options for managing paediatric skin conditions such as rashes.
  • Discuss the range of ADHD conditions that commonly present in general practice
  • Discuss pharmacotherapy in the management of ADHD

    This workshop is pending accreditation with RACGP and ACRRM for 2 CPD hours.
