Climate Action Day: Climathon Waikato Roadshow

Join Climathon Waikato for a whole afternoon of climate action, perfect for the entire family.
From 3:15pm, we'll be gathering at the Paeroa War Memorial Hall for a family fun day, filled with interactive activities designed to help you explore the climate crisis and discover how we everyone - from children and young people, to professionals and business owners, can take action for a greener future.
Entrance is free and snacks are provided!

We welcome those of all ages, cultural backgrounds, and genders to join us. It doesn't matter whether you just want to learn more about sustainability, or are already a passionate climate activist ... there's something for everyone to enjoy during this afternoon of inspiration and action.

This event marks the finale of the Climathon Waikato roadshow. For 6 days, the Climathon team will have been traveling across the Waikato region via e-bike to share our kaupapa of empowering climate action. In each town, we'll have hosted a climate action-themed event, bringing local communities to raise awareness, connect like-minded people, celebrate local climate heroes, connect like-minded people, and equip people with the tools they need to live sustainably.
