From page to picture, cover to credits — a cinematic book club for readers and watchers alike.

Presented in collaboration by Book + Bottle and Green Light Cinema, this bi-monthly series invites you to explore iconic (and unexpected) book-to-film adaptations. Your $30 ticket includes a copy of the book (available for pickup at Book + Bottle) and admission to a special screening at Green Light Cinema. After the screening, a moderator will facilitate a thoughtful discussion on the adaptation process.

Our first book is The Orchid Thief: A True Story of Beauty and Obsession by Susan Orlean followed by the movie Adaptation directed by Spike Jonze and starring Nicolas Cage, Meryl Streep, and Chris Cooper.
