Event description

Workshop description: This workshop will focus on select techniques and materials in painting with oils and acrylics (specialising in oils) and will include a generous dollop of Colour Theory. For beginning to intermediate painters.

Dates: Sunday March 3rd 9.30am-1.30 pm. Sunday May 26th 9.30 am-1.30 pm. Limited to 8 people.

Some of the topics we cover: choosing painting supports, priming, grounds, underpainting, sketching in form, blocking in form, highlights, Colour Theory & Toxicology.

Location: Studio Giblin. 95A Giblin Street, New Town

Tickets: $187. Includes booking fee, materials + 1 canvas, and morning tea. You get to take your painting home.
