Paint and Let Your Mind Unwind

Fancy doing something a little different this Friday morning?

Join Streaks of Art at Akuna Café, Merewether, for a relaxed, creative hour where you can step away from your usual routine, play with colour and enjoy some time for yourself.

This is an acrylic painting workshop on canvas, designed for adults of all ages. Whether you love art, haven't picked up a paintbrush in years, or have always wanted to give it a try, this workshop is for you.

What will we do?

We'll explore colour, shapes and the beauty of negative space. We will discover how the areas we leave untouched can be just as meaningful as the ones we fill.

You'll have the freedom to experiment, make your own choices and create something that feels uniquely yours. There's no need to follow every line or worry about getting things right. The idea is to let go, play and enjoy the process.

What makes this workshop special?

No experience needed: Beginners are very welcome.
No pressure to be perfect: This is about enjoying the process, not producing a masterpiece.
A little time for yourself: Slow down, switch off from the daily rush and do something creative.
A chance to connect: Come on your own or bring a friend. It's a lovely way to meet people and share a new experience.
Take your artwork home: Leave with your own acrylic painting on canvas and, hopefully, a refreshed mind.
