FAQs

• When should I arrive and how long is the session?

  Astray opens from 4pm, and we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early to collect your welcome drink and get comfortable.

  The painting lesson begins at 4:30pm, and should last for approximately 2-3 hours. After we wrap up, you're welcome to continue hanging out at the bar for as long as you want (we can remain open until 11pm). Once you finish painting, we'll have a last call on the bottomless package, and then additional drinks will be available for purchase.

• What drinks are included in the drinks package?

  We offer beers, wines, standard mixed drinks, a selection of our premium cocktails and mocktails, and soft drinks. You'll receive table service during the event so you can order drinks while you paint!

• Do you serve food?

  We offer a selection of bar food for purchase including hot chips, hummus plates, warm pretzels and pizza. If you'd like something else though, you're welcome to bring in food or to order takeaway from any of our neighbours on Little Malop street.

• If I come with friends, can we all sit together?

  We'll do our best to ensure you're all sitting together! If you and your friends are booking separately, it's best if you arrive earlier so we can seat you all together. Astray is an intimate bar though, so even if you're not right next to each other, you won't be too far away! If you have special requests, please let us know while booking the ticket.

• What should I wear?

  You can wear anything you'd like! But probably something that if you accidentally got paint on it, you wouldn't be too upset. We provide aprons to protect your clothing while you're painting.
