Event description

Get creative in this Paint and Snack Art workshop for teens. Ages 13 - 19yrs.

All materials supplied, Be given step by step instruction on how to build up layers for this creative colourful artwork in Acrylics on A4 300 gsm paper and pastels.

Snacks and a drink included. A fun and colourful morning of creativity as part of the @Latrobe Festival of Arts.

Workshop held in the Lucas cafe building, enter via the walk bridge next to the Lucas Hotel.

Michelle Miller - Artist, painter and photographer

I’ve always had an interest in art, ever since I was a young girl. I also love nature and surrounding myself with it’s beauty. Capturing it helps to keep the memory that bit more alive when days are overcast and a bit sad. Its great to be able to go through my stock of photos and relive the walks, adventures and joys of discovering the beauty of Tasmania where I’ve lived for the past 20 years.

I grew up in Adelaide which has its own beauty but for me was too busy and took more of a drive to get to be in just nature. These days, my many roles as Mother, artist, photographer, art teacher and Vice President of Rubicon River Arts Community Art Group. I love being able to share my skills of creating art with varying ages and skill level, from Seniors to school children.
