This workshop is a hands-on Fine Art workshop, using recycled canvases and designed to delve into the techniques and artistic vision of Georgia O’Keeffe, one of America’s most celebrated painters. Participants will explore her unique style, characterized by bold colors, magnified forms, and abstract representations of nature. The workshop aims to inspire creativity and develop participants' painting skills by emulating O’Keeffe’s approach to capturing the beauty of the natural world.
‘Paint Like Georgia O’Keeffe: A Journey into Abstract Nature’ offers a comprehensive, engaging, and inspiring experience for all participants. By the end of the workshop, attendees will have a deeper appreciation for O’Keeffe’s artistry and the skills to incorporate her techniques into their own artistic practice.

About the Instructor
Jennie Tudor Gray is a professional artist and art educator with over thirty years of experience creating and teaching art. She graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in Studio Art and All level art teaching certification. She rarely sticks with any one medium and enjoys creating mixed media work while incorporating recycled and found objects such as altered books. She has taught in public schools, private schools, art museums, arts and cultural centers, nonprofits, and community based art.
