Have you seen a painting by Monet and wondered how he did that? Come along to learn the basics of French Impressionism, a technique that has influenced a lot of modern art.
What will we cover?
In this hands on workshop you will learn:
- Basic colour mixing
- How to loosely represent light and shadow
- Impressionist brush strokes
You will leave with a small finished painting

Who will be Teaching?
Josh (they/them) is an artist and educator from Naarm. They have a passion for community and empowering everyone to realise they're able to create, even if they haven't picked up a brush since primary school. Their practice spans many mediums but is rooted in painting and drawing which they use to think through social and historical contexts.
