Event description

June is Pride month, so Geelong Rainbow and Geelong Illustrators are collaborating with a fun workshop for all ages to celebrate!

Paint Your Pride and create a canvas of either a moth, beetle, or caterpillar with your pride colours while meeting other like minded folks.

Geelong artist Clare Holder will guide you in basic acrylic painting techniques to share and celebrate your pride with all materials provided!

Templates will be available, otherwise you can paint or create whatever you like.

If you're already a bit arty and want to come along to be social and bring digital art/your own sketchbook rather than paint a canvas, that's okay too but please send us an email at hello@geelongillustrators.com.au to let us know you won't be needing a canvas.

While this is a community event, a small admission cost is required to cover our basic materials while keeping it as affordable as possible for you!

To save on humanitix fees and keep things affordable for you, we ask that you book a ticket to hold your spot, and pay on the day when you arrive (by cash or EFTPOS).
Geelong Rainbow Members and Concession $5
General Fee $10
Supporter Fee $10 (if you're feeling fancy and want to pay more.)

As spaces are limited, if you cannot make it on the day for any reason, please cancel your ticket so we can ensure as many people as possible can enjoy the workshop.
We don't want empty seats that could have be filled!

  • Suitable for beginners to intermediate.

  • All ages! Young children must have a parent/guardian present.

  • All materials are supplied to create a 20x25 cm canvas with acrylic paint

  • Light snacks, hot chocolate, tea and coffee supplied. Tap water available.
