Paint Your Pup on Glass - Glass Painting Workshop
Description
Every dog holds a special place in someone’s heart. In this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll turn a favourite photograph into a heartfelt dog portrait, hand-painted on glass and beautifully displayed in its own frame.
You might choose your own dog, a much-loved dog from your past, or someone else’s furry companion to create a thoughtful handmade gift. Whatever the story behind your portrait, this workshop is a lovely way to celebrate a dog that means something special to you.
Using acrylic paints and a beginner-friendly reverse glass painting technique, you’ll be guided by local artist Shirley as you bring your portrait to life.
Your painting does not need to be a perfect or realistic copy of the photograph. The aim is to capture the dog’s colours, markings and personality in your own creative way—and to enjoy the experience of making it yourself.
Before the workshop, simply send us a clear photograph of the dog you would like to paint. It can show the dog’s face or full body, as long as the dog is easy to see and is the main focus of the image. We’ll prepare and print your photograph before the session, so everything is ready when you arrive.
