Painted Floats Workshop Broome

Join Leah Rakabundel outside under the shade of the verandah with the afternoon breeze with some good music. Let your creative juices flow whilst painting and giving new life to a recycled plastic float which has washed ashore from its previous life out at sea or perhaps on a pearl farm. 

Leah will guide you through the process of coming up with your design, to choosing your colours and painting your float. There will be a selection of colours to choose from including Kimberley pindans, turqoise Roebuck bay inspired blues and a range of other bright and pastel shades includings pinks, purples, greens, oranges, yellows and browns. 

You are welcome to bring your own upcycled float or floats and paints if you have particular colours you would like to use.

All guidance, materials and instructions provided. 

No prior experience necessary, this workshop is suitable for beginners. 

Healthy snacks and refreshments provided. Please feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks if desired and advise of any dietary requirements.
