Description

In this guided step-by-step session, you’ll be introduced to the process of painting a Red-tailed Black Cockatoo feather in a shared creative learning space.  The session will be taught in two blocks, with a focus on understanding the nature and techniques of watercolour painting in the signature style of the artist. A short interval is planned for halfway through.Designed to be both relaxing and immersive, this workshop welcomes all skill levels- no experience needed.

Working from one of two real Red-tailed Black Cockatoo feathers, you’ll use artist-quality materials to create your own A4 archival artwork to take home. You’ll also be given a “How to Paint a Redtail Feather” manual to take home, so you can revisit the process again at home. The workshop includes thoughtfully prepared nibbles, tea and coffee."
