Painting Workshop and River Talks with Kurt Bosecke and friends
Event description
Join local artist Kurt Bosecke and his mentor Sabrina Sterk in a painting workshop at E-S-T, on Gilles Street in the CBD.
During the workshop, all attendees are invited to sit, sip tea, paint a pot or on paper, and join in on a flowing conversation inspired by Nature Festival's theme 'Flow'. Two wonderful scientists, Tammy and Jason, will be joining us for the session to guide a conversation around the state of our local waterways, with a particular focus on our Karra Wirra Pari (River Torrens). Our intention for this session is to open up a candid and free flowing conversation, to raise awareness about our local flora and fauna, and to encourage all ages to actively engage in the learning. All ages are welcome and it will be a very friendly and calm environment for both adults and children.
