Event description

In this workshop you will learn to produce a simple, realistic still life using a range of techniques with acrylic and/or oil paints. It will include demonstrations and instruction in:

  • The painting process from composition and drawn design to finished work, including underpainting, blocking in, creating the illusion of form and texture
  • Mixing desired colours with a limited palette
  • Blending methods
  • Glazing techniques

Dates:       Fridays - 6, 13, 20, June       10-4pm

Location:   ArtStudioNine, 9 George Rd, Salamander Bay

Cost:   $550pp for 3 sessions
