Join STA Artist in Residence AngHart for a fun Pop Art inspired workshop for all ages (children to be accompanied)
From 10am- Free entry over the morning to visit Ang at Robert’s Shark Tank and get inspired by the collection and displays. Come anytime across the two hours. (your name will be on the dorr VIP style)
1pm-3pm Creative workshop get creative at Southern Cross Cinema in Young.
An exclusive “through an artist lens” visit to Robert’s Shark Tank to take in the depth and breadth of Robert and his family’s curated collection of relics from the past, iconic branded merchandise, sporting and Hollywood memorabilia, and so much more! In the afternoon participants will be encouraged to use images and memories from their Shark Tank visit to create their very own version of Pop Art using acrylics and mixed media on canvas.
Please bring a mobile phone or device (e.g. digital camera or i-pad) to collect your images in the morning.
Experimentation using varied media, texture and colour is encouraged. A projector will be available for participants.
All are welcome regardless of painting experince. This workshop is intergenerational, children (7-12years old to be accompanied).
Please note the workshop venue at Southern Cross Cinema is on the first floor with access via stairs only. Please contact STA if you will require assistance traversing the stairs.
