Event description

FREE, BUT BOOKING ESSENTIAL

The film was made by Dare To Struggle (DTS). It was shot in West Bank Palestine, East Jerusalem and Israel in June and July last year, it takes you into the heart of the struggle for Palestinian self-determination.  Survivors of Al Nakba and Jewish activists, who back the right of return for Palestinians, share their experiences and insights in fighting Zionism, exposing the impact of Al Nakba and settler colonialism, and dismantling Israeli apartheid.
Three Australians - Dr Peter Slezak, Rand Darwish and Lee Rhiannon - conducted the interviews. The film makers are John Reynolds and Jill Hickson.
The film was made to provide a resource for the Palestinian solidarity movement.
Entry is free, but we are asking for donations
for DTS' main fundraising project, the Human Rights Defenders, who are profiled in the film, and who receive no NGO funding but do incredible work at great risk to document the abuses in their community by settlers and soldiers.
